John Fitzgerald Green (Source: Lexington County Sheriff's Department)WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Lexington County deputies say they have arrested a man in connection with a robbery at a hotel on Harbor Drive in West Columbia.
Officials say 18-year-old Reginald Lewis Watson has been charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Authorities say Watson and a second man robbed the Executive Inn Wednesday around 9:35am.
Officials say the two men stayed at the hotel for two nights prior to the robbery. Authorities then say they went to the front desk, pointed a handgun at the clerk and removed about $200 from the cash register.
A second suspect is still being sought, but authorities say they are looking for 18-year-old John Fitzgerald Green in connection with the case.
Green is described as 5'9" and weighing 130 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and several tattoos, such as the word "Godson" on his neck.
