
WIS has completed The Big Switch to digital television, but we are aware that many of our viewers are still having trouble receiving our signal.
To further help TV viewers with The Big Switch to digital television, the South Carolina Broadcasters Association has announced new DTV walk-in help centers.
The Federal Communications Commission has awarded a contract to Green Planet Construction to provide basic, in-home DTV installation services (converter box installs) in South Carolina at no charge to consumers.
Between January 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009, eligible households can request up to two coupons, each valued at $40, toward the purchase of converters. You can call 1-888-388-2009 to get coupons.
