ROCK HILL, SC (AP) - The 88-year-old man authorities say shot a South Carolina real estate broker in his office over a money dispute is expected to have a bond hearing.

Rock Hill Police Lt. Michael Belk says Richard Blow is expected to appear before a judge Thursday on a charge of assault and battery with attempt to kill.

Police say Blow burst into a Coldwell Banker United Realtors office in Rock Hill on Wednesday afternoon and shot 68-year-old broker Jerry O'Neill once in the abdomen.

Police say Blow had put a deposit down on the purchase of real estate but decided he wanted his money back.

Belk says O'Neill remains hospitalized in critical condition. Coldwell Banker says O'Neill is the manager of the Rock Hill office.
