ISLE OF PALMS, SC (WIS) - A shark has bitten another person off the Isle of Palms.
Officials say a man was surfing and paddling out in the water when he was bitten on the arm. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials cleared the beach, but there was no mandatory evacuation.
This is the second shark bite incident at the Isle of Palms in a month. The last incident was on June 7.
