COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Bond has been set for the husband of a Columbia news anchor charged with assault and battery with intent to kill after he turned himself in after a weekend incident in Columbia.

Authorities say the incident happened at around 2:45am Saturday at Local's Bar in Five Points.

Police say 28-year-old Christopher Todaro shoved William Wrenn in the chest hard enough for Wrenn to fall backwards and hit his head on a parked car.

Wrenn was taken to a local hospital and according to a news release was listed in critical but stable condition after having two major surgeries done on his brain.

Todaro was later arrested at another Five Points bar.

Todaro is the husband of WLTX anchor Andrea Mock and a pilot at Shaw Air Force Base, according to their website.

In court, Todaro's attorney said Wrenn had been "touching women all night," including Mock.

"They asked him to quit and he wouldn't," Todaro's attorney said.

Bond was set at $150,000 for Todaro. He was made to surrender his passport.

Shaw Air Force Base tells us Todaro is still an active duty pilot, a captain with the 20th Fighter Wing.
