Fire on 18th floor of Palmetto Center contained

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - There was a fire on the 18th floor of the Palmetto Center building in downtown Columbia.

Officials tell us the fire has been contained, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities say that the smoke is being cleared from the building, and several floors were evacuated because of the smoke.

We'll post more information here when it becomes available.
