COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A deadly accident backed up traffic on I-20 Saturday afternoon after a Texas 6-year-old and her father were killed in the crash.
The highway patrol says a car with five people inside drove off the road near mile marker 88 around 2:00pm and hit a tree.
Officials say there were two adults and three children from Texas in the car.
Deputies say 42-year-old Steven Williams died in the crash along with his 6-year-old daughter Haven. The others were transported to the hospital.
Investigators are still looking into what caused the accident.
