WIS News 10 - Columbia, South Carolina | Man killed in shooting near West Charlotte High School

(Charlotte, NC-AP) September 7, 2006 - An 18-year-old man is dead and a 17-year-old is charged with murder after a shooting near a high school in Charlotte. It happened Wednesday afternoon, a little more than an hour after classes ended at West Charlotte High.
Antonio Londale Raye died Wednesday night of his wounds. Randall Adams Junior is being held for a court appearance Friday. Police say neither man was a student at the school.
Investigators say an argument between the two escalated into a fist-fight, ending when one man pulled out a handgun and began firing.
