(Baghdad-AP) May 13, 2006 - A roadside bomb has taken the life of another US soldier in Iraq.
The military says the explosion occurred early Saturday south of Baghdad as the soldier's convoy was driving by.
The number of US soldiers now killed in Iraq is up to 2,437 since the beginning of the war in March 2003.
According to an Associated Press count, 13 US service members have died in Iraq this week.
