(Kingman, Ariz.-AP) November 5, 2005 - Country singer Mindy McCready no longer is facing criminal charges in Arizona.
A prosecutor filed a motion Saturday to dismiss charges of hindering prosecution and unlawful use of means of transportation. The charges stemmed from an investigation by Lake Havasu City police into a June incident involving a reported stolen pickup. McCready, who's been hospitalized for two apparent suicide attempts, has had a number of run-ins with the law. She had a number-one hit in 1996 with "Guys Do It All the Time."Posted 8:37pm by Bryce Mursch
