WIS News 10 - Columbia, South Carolina | First of two motorcycle events opens on Grand Strand

Many vendors and bikers have been on the Grand Strand since last Friday. Wednesday was the first day vendors could set up in the city.
Officials say crowds are bigger than last year, thanks to nice weather and extra advertising.
The Coastal Carolina University's tourism center says about 30,000 more bikers showed up for the kickoff weekend compared with last year. Total attendance is expected to reach 300,000 bikers.
The Atlantic Beach Bikefest is set for Memorial Day weekend.
