(Tijeras, New Mexico-NBC) Aug. 10, 2004 - New Mexico authorities are searching for a suspect in a fatal hit and run accident that stemmed from a case of road rage.
Police believe the suspect forced the driver of a white Jeep Wrangler into oncoming traffic Monday evening, then left the scene.
Two cars were apparently involved in a highway dispute on Interstate 40 east of Albuquerque. The man in the Jeep was killed instantly when he crashed head-on into a semi truck.
San Bernalillo authorities are looking for an older man with white bushy hair, driving a white Subaru station wagon.
