Survey: more Americans don't believe war in Iraq worth fighting than do

(Washington-AP) Nov. 11, 2003 - A new survey suggests more and more Americans don't believe the war in Iraq was worth fighting.

The poll by the Annenberg Public Policy Center says 49 percent say the war wasn't worth it compared to 48 percent who say it was.

Last month 52 percent said it was worth fighting, while 43 percent said it was not.

The changes in opinion were seen in many demographic groups, but they were strongest among men and independent voters.
