ATLANTA, GA (WIS) - It was an exciting night for the WIS News 10 family.

Our station won an Emmy at the regional award show in Atlanta Saturday night.

The story that caught the judges' eyes was about a Newberry County man who helps vets hunt and fish. They really get a chance to enjoy the outdoors.

Reporter Taylor Kearns and photojournalist Enrico Meyer were behind the piece.

They have really made our station proud.

If you would like to read their story, you can do so by clicking Mission: Recovery -- Thanking the troops by giving back.
