SANTEE, SC (WIS) - Police in Santee need your help catching thieves who are hitting out of town guests along I-95.

According to Sgt. Joe Serrano with the Santee Police Department the burglars hit a motel room on October 25 and got away with a ring worth $16,000.  The guests credit card was also stolen in the burglary.

Police say that credit card was used at locations along I-95 and in Columbia.  They need your help identifying the person caught on tape using the card at a Columbia store.  The image was captured at the Target on Harbison Blvd.

Sgt. Serrano went on to say it is unclear how they broke into the room.  There were no signs of forced entry.  They believe the burglars waited for the guests to leave for dinner when they went into the room.

In addition to that, Serrano says they put the room back the way it was so the guests didn't realize they were burglarized until a few days later.

If you can help identify the person in this image or if you have any information about this case you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
