Admission for active military with proper military I. D. and their dependents is free for all 12 days of the fair. Admission for retired military members and their dependents is free on both Sundays with proper I. D.

There are plenty of new items to go with the traditional favorites of corn dogs, hamburgers and elephant ears, fried dough topped with a variety of powdered sugar, chocolate or fruit toppings.

New items this year include fried bologna on a stick.

Also doughnut burgers. That would be a hamburger patty between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts and with traditional topics of cheese, bacon, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onions.

Be sure to check out the WIS tent on the Midway. Ben Hoover will be live at the fair Wednesday on the News at 5,6 and 7.
