LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Lexington County officials have identified the victim of a fatal accident at the intersection of Old Wire Road and Highway 321 near the Gaston community.
Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman said Michael Carter, 21, died after being ejected from a pickup truck.
Harman said Carter was a passenger in the burgundy Toyota, which was headed north when the driver lost control, swerved into the media and the truck rolled over.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived at the scene around 7:10am Wednesday. The driver and other passengers were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.
Troopers are investigating, and Harman said an autopsy will be conducted.
