MAYESVILLE, SC (WIS) - A Sumter County teenager is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill after deputies say he shot his 15-year-old cousin.
Sheriff Anthony Dennis said Christopher Jackson was shot in the stomach around 11:00pm Friday. It happened near the Mayesville house of Jackson's cousin, 19-year-old Montray White.
Jackson is in stable but serious condition at Palmetto Health Richland, according to Dennis.
White is being held at the Sumter Detention Center.
