Authorities need help finding robbery suspect's identity

Posted: Updated:

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - State law enforcement officials in South Carolina and North Carolina say they need help in identifying a man they are calling a serial bank robber.

Officials have described the man as a middle-aged male, average height with a stocky build, wearing glasses and a dark goatee. In one instance, he was seen driving away in a white 2007-2008 Ford F-150 truck. In another, he was seen in a burgundy SUV.

Investigators say the man has robbed two banks in Spartanburg, one in Greenville, three in Wilmington, North Carolina and the most recent in Florence on Nov. 13.

If you have any information on this man's identity, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or text the word TIPSC and your message to CRIMES (274637).
