WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A string of commercial burglaries in West Columbia have police there looking for suspects.
West Columbia police say the method of entry is essentially the same in each of the burglaries: someone throwing a rock at glass windows or doors.
Officials say the thief has hit Salon Irie, Shear Dynasty, Sightler Florist, Lowntown Beauty Salon, School Cuts, Skip's Cleaners, Val's Pretty Pets and the Hair and Nail Salon in the past week and a half.
Authorities say money appears to be the motive in each of these robberies.
If you have any information in this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or text the word TIPSC and your message to CRIMES (274637).
