FIRST ALERT: Sunday is looking much nicer - Cooler next week

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with temps in the upper 50s to low 60s but dry weather! However, cooler weather and move rain eventually moves in for the end of next week.

Weather Headlines:

- Dry for your Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds

- 60s on Monday but 50s return for Tuesday and Wednesday

- More rain is in the forecast as we go into Thursday and Friday

First Alert Weather Story:

Going into your Sunday we’ll see sun and clouds for the afternoon with dry conditions and highs getting into the low 60s which is seasonable for this time of the year. I’ve made Sunday the pick of the weekend! So if you have any outdoor plans, that is certainly the day to do it.

No weather issues as we go into tonight with just a few passing clouds and lows getting into the 40s.

We’re expecting much more sunshine Monday into Wednesday with highs in the 60s for Monday but cooling off big time as we get into Tuesday and Wednesday with highs only in the mid 50s. Along with that comes overnight temperatures in the 30s both Tuesday and Wednesday morning. So make sure you don’t put that winter jacket away too far.

Next chance for rain comes Thursday into Friday. We’ll be watching it for you!

Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 60s.

Tonight: A Few passing clouds with lows in the 40s

Monday: Expecting more sunshine with highs in the low 60s.

Tuesday: Cooler with highs in the 50s but plenty of sunshine
